Ergonomics and computer use

Ergonomics and computer use

11. Foot pads on the floor
22. Ankles aligned knees
33. About 90° angle between your hip and knee cap
44.  Sit evenly on your ischial bones + sit back part of the chair
55. Neck and back in good posture (normal curves lordosis and kyphosis)
66. Upper arm relaxed next to your body
77. About 90° angle between your upper and forearm
88. Wrists relaxed and straight on the table
99. Gaze downwards

Why should you take brakes every 30 minutes?

-       - Blood circulation and metabolism slows down
-       - Keeps your mind clear
-       - Certain muscles gets tensioned

  1. Thank you for your work! Your illustration supports the points above.
    Foot pads -> SOLES
    tauot -> BREAKS

    I'm glad that you brought up taking pause exercises (while working on the computer).
    About the importance of taking breaks:
    can you provide more advantages and health benefits (in addition to the ones you've come up with)

  2. Be careful how you present the benefits or stretch breaks - use the positive approach:
    enlivens circulation and improves metabolism
    (Excessive computing slows down blood circulation - you do stretch exercises to improve it!)
